Your subscribed address should be used for this. The list will sent you a
confirmation that you were unsubscribed.

SUSPEND/RESUME

Suspends or resumes your subscription to the list. This is the preferred
command during short absences from the list because your current subscription
settings are held unchanged. The list responds to commands by returning a
STATUS message which details the current settings of your subscription.

While SUSPEND is active mail and digests are not distributed to you until
the RESUME keyword is received by the list.

DIGEST Options

Halts or activate one of three types of digest.

Receive
Plain Text digests (most prefer this)

Receive
Multipart/Mixed digests

Receive
Multipart/Digest digests

Stop
Digests and Recieve regular mail

MAIL/NOMAIL

Halts or activates individual mail distribution from the list. For example
if you are receiving both the digest and individual messages, you can use this
to turn off individual messages. Or if you are on digest but want to receive
individual mails for a while to reply to them, you can use this to turn on the
mail while still receiving digests.

During holidays or similar absences the SUSPEND keyword should be used
rather than NOMAIL
